I want to be an alien
like those on Doctor Who –
A lizard-like Silurian
or a tentacle-mouthed Ood.
Or perhaps a Weeping Angel,
or a deadly Toclafane,
or maybe a silver Cyberman
left only with my brain.
Or should I be a Sycorax,
or a Sontaran clone?
Or perhaps a plastic Auton
or a Judoon drone.
Or I could be a Dalek
with a tendency to hate
and zap all of my enemies
shouting ‘Exterminate’.
But then again I’d rather be
of the Gallifreyan race.
A Time Lord, like the Doctor,
exploring time and space.

This flows comfortably which is often rare with rhyme, I've seen. I haven't watched nearly enough Doctor Who to pick up on every alien race mentioned, but this is great.
